The gateway to Annapurna base camp is via the picturesque lakeside city of Pokhara & is easily accessible by local bus or flight from Kathmandu. Leaving Pokhara for a bus ride to Nayapul takes us to the starting point of the trek & we head for snow slopes for skiing.

The diversity of mighty Annapurna is unparalleled. This trail takes you through lush farmlands, rhododendron forests, along the valley of modi river followed by deep ravine between two peaks – Mt. Hiunchuli(6441m) & the sacred Machhapuchhre(6993m) peak before reaching Annapurna Base Camp at 4310m. Since its lower elevation than the Everest base camp trek this most preferred trek for those who are unsure of their mountaineering abilities.
